Bit touchy, Jesus. Striker is out of form, a new manager is coming in, and he jets off to the states making sure he's seen. I am sure the manager is suitably impressed with his work ethic.
2 games in after the International break and gets injured because he has not had a proper break. Players, regardless of stature, cannot play/train every bloody day for christ sake. Enjoying yourself during a break, whats the world coming too?

Wait I thought it was just what he's wearing? Make your mind up.

He's on holiday, all players that weren't on international duty got a break. Not sure you can complain about him 'making sure he's seen' when you're clearly looking up what he's doing in his personal time dude. DO you expect him to lock himself in his bedroom and watch Amorim tactic videos?

Not unexpected given the aggressive cost cutting measures INEOS are putting in place.

While I think the squad can do a lot better, he'll need some signings, surely. Shame ETH was able to fluff £600m and Amorim is going to have to try and make it work...

I'm sure there will be some signings though.

Rashford is on a semi-permanent break. Come on guys is this some sort of joke. I've seen harder working pandas than Rashford. If anything hes likely to get an underuse injury.

underperform for a long time while being one of the highest paid in the premire league not good enough to get into international team so gets free time during it , fair play

Hopefully it's just PR to keep purchase prices down because as we all know the squad essentially needs ripping apart, needs at least £300m to be spent. Plus a fair few players are due to go at the end of the season. If those players are renewed then that will speak volumes...

Unless top 6 only is the aim. In which case, crack on boys.

There's a full breakdown of Amorim's first training session on BBC.

Will we beat 7 articles on there this week and next?

There was a tweet from one of the United twitter accounts saying that Amorim has already decided he needs another DM and AM...after a single training session with about half the first XI missing. Its a little ridiculous the circus around the club.

I just hope the media don’t rush to criticise the guy if the players take time to adapt to his tactics. It’s easy to imagine the negative headlines starting to circulate after just a few games, especially if the results don’t immediately go our way.

The players will need time to understand and execute his vision. Let’s hope everyone gives the team and the manager the breathing room they need. They won't though.

I can't tell if you are serious here. They were being ***** to him before he even started the job. He will be under a microscope and no matter what he does and how he does there will be a ridiculous amount of articles written about it.

Yeah, I know they will jump on him. I said it at the end of my post.

Negativity sells more than positivity.

Controversy and polarisation sells more than anything. Its all about engagement. On youtube people intentionally talk crap and make mistakes just to get all the people in the comments coming in and "correcting" them to feel smug. Algorithm sees engagement and voila, your videos do even better.

United had so many years of being at the top table that United have a huge fan base and then a huge base of fans who hate them. Any article on United will get both sides involved and arguing.

Go read any article on the BBC and there will be hundreds of comments complaining about how they don't want to see United articles, how United don't matter. How this is the 10th article today about United and they are sick of it. So sick of it all that they took their time to read it and comment on it...
