We aren't getting good money for Rashford.
Amorim knows it will take all season to make any sort of progress. The good thing is that it will sort out the men from the boys in that squad. We really must get a left sided full back or wing back in January. Rumour is that we have made an approach for the Portugese lad at PSG - Nuno Mendes. Tbh it's a massive mistake from the club leaving us without a Left back for over a year, especially as we let Alvaro Fernandes go 18 months ago. He has a buy back for £25m.
Some big decisions ahead. I think there are only about 4/5 players who are safe - De Ligt, Mazraoui, Martinez, Amad, Mainoo, Ugarte. The captain might also find himself surplus. I still think he's one of the biggest problems and whilst he's a smart committed footballer he just doesn't seem to have the game to play this formation. He loses almost every duel, gives the ball away cheaply and often in dangerous positions, his corner taking and freekicks are gash and now his discipline has to be questioned. A big problem.
It's tough but doesn't feel as hopeless as it did with ten Hag, even if we do lose the next 2/3 games.

Just read that article, some of this cost cutting seems ridiculous when you've got the likes of Rashford etc on 350k a week. Not doing their community reputation many favours.
