I see Mourinho has lost patience with Pogba and is willing to let him leave this summer? If you believe the papers and SSN

It's a shame because I've lost patience with Mourinho, I'd much rather see him leave and a manager with a more modern approach to football come in and allow Pogba to play football. Mourinho is going to decimate out team, Martial and Rashford aren't going to put up with never playing because Sanchez is a guaranteed start (despite being the worst player in a Utd shirt since William Prunier), and he'll no doubt sign some other 30 odd year old players to come in and do a job at the expense of better and younger players already in the team

He really is a detestable little **** Mourinho, the sooner he goes to PSG the better

I completely agree Steedie, I was thinking the same thing about Mourinho myself. As I've said before, I believe that Pep, Klopp or Poch would be getting more out of our current squad and playing better football at the same time. I'd much rather see Mourinho given the boot than Pogba, Martial and Rashford. I have this horrible image of those three being sold and going on to be brilliant at other teams. They'll be the next KdB and Salah in terms of players who improved once they'd left Mourinho's team.

Sell Pogba for peanuts, buy him back for £90m and then sell him again (well below the £90m no doubt) :o, I hope not.

I would hate to work for who is essentially a black hole of negativity.

something has to give on the left side, and unfortunately its most likely to be Martial (begrudgingly if its a choice between Martial and Rashford, the preference to keep is Rashford all day long.......even if it really should be Sanchez leaving and allowing the two much younger players to alternate as they did "happily" and productively between Aug - Dec)

If Jose could rotate properly we shouldn't even have a problem. Sanchez on the right, Martial left, Lukaku up front and Rashford can play either on the left or up front when we rotate.

except every time he plays on the right for Utd he completely disappears (like nearly everyone else does on the right), so playing Sanchez out the is rarely going to happen

Best player on the right is probably Lingard even though he does tend to come into the middle

Quite pleased about this, Mourinho isn't going anywhere and some changes are needed (on the pitch and also the staff). Not that I think Mourinho will change much, but we can hope, surely even he must realise his old style isn't working anymore.

The season hasn't been a disaster but the quality of football has been utterly dire in nearly every game. It's really quite shocking.

If we let Martial go its a joke. He is easily one of our best 3-4 players and has massive potential. I think there will be sides lining up to sign him and in a team that allows him more freedom and actually supports him he will become one of the best players in the world.

Mourinho has been good for us in a lot of ways but he is building a squad that on the surface appears attacking and exciting but is clearly being stifled. If you gave our squad to a more attack minded manager we would play some lovely football.

He's very inconsistent. Shows glimpses now and then. Also since he wants out himself you're probably going to get even worse from him next season if you force him to stay. Unsettled, attitude.

How many 20 year olds are consistent when their manager has little faith in them and drops them for weeks on end only to stick them on for 10 minutes at the end of a game when we are losing. Mourinho is like a poor mans Guardiola in my eyes. If you are going to spend hundreds of millions then you should be able to play good football and put together a good coherent team. Look at City, Guardiola has spent a huge amount of money but he has also developed a number of players.

Sane looked very underwhelming when he came to City, Sterling was inconsistent and quite raw at Liverpool. De Bruyne has developed a lot since coming to City. Jesus has improved a lot. Guardiola seems to know how to manage and develop players whereas Mourinho seems to expect the world from them and when they don't deliver immediately they are basically forgotten about and misused.

Pogba - played out of position constantly
Martial - Never given a good run of games, dropped for weeks on end and makes a great cameo and is then dropped again immediately.
Shaw - Never give a chance to play consecutive games and manager publicly complains about him. Plays him once and ignores him again for ages.
Bailly - Not sure whats going on here. Easily our best CB but suddenly dropped again.
Sanchez - Bought when we didn't need him and another case of "buy a good player and **** tactics or balance" obviously can't drop him

Its so frustrating because we are just going to watch players drift through the club and leave to do far better at another club that actually trusts and uses the players. Mourinho clearly has his favourites and they can be as bang average as they like as long as he likes them. Valencia offers almost 0 going forwards and isn't a great defender. Young isn't amazing defensively and is decent going forwards but we should be giving Shaw a chance.

We finished second in the league because Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham have been a bit more inconsistent than us. All of those teams play much nicer football than us and all of them have a style to their football. I know people say that Mourinho is still building his squad but part of being a good manager is doing the best with what you have. Guardiola won't sit back and say my team is perfect but he won't say "next year will be our year when I have the players I want". Develop what you have and then improve every summer.
