US: The Mandalorian

He was the best of the cameos. But, jeez, poor, poor acting tonight.

Couple of nice surprises and a convenient legal loophole!

Ending was good, but overall a poor episode and very poor acting from some.

You're starting to sound like a 90's secondary school teacher with this "poor" schtick. Just say, bad, ********, *****, pathetic, **** or something with a bit of substance, "poor" sounds so flaccid. :D

This one was painful. Lizzo cannot act, Jack Black only ever plays Jack Black and how on earth did the Ugnaughts know where the next "malfunction" would take place. Unless they actually knew the source of the malfunctions there's no way they could know which droids had used which batch of Nepenthe (the river of forgetfulness in Greek mythology), in which case they could have just told Din and Bo Katan what they knew rather that just send them to the docks.

Seems like Favreau just decided to give cameos to whoever had collared him on the red carpet at some point and Bryce Dallas Howard just phoned in the direction because she didn't want to deal with Favreau's mates.

Yeah not a great episode. The bit with Jack Black, Christopher Lloyd and the robots was like an episode of Scooby Doo.. Expected him to say "I would have got away with it if it wasnt for those meddling Mandalorians!"

I really like the Bo-Katan character and Katee Sackhoff and i want to see the rise of the Mandalorians as a culture but the storyline has currently relegated Jin and Grogu to secondary characters.

One thing that did bug me a bit was that apparently the planet was a democratic utopia and the robots did all the work, however the Ugnaughts were still working. The whole episode was disjointed and a lot of things just didnt make sense.

Honestly i think Doc should have pressed the button..

if it wasn't for the small amount of plot relevance because of
Bo Katan and the dark saber
this felt like the kind of episode that gets quietly dropped out at Christmas as an extra of dubious canonicity that holds no link to the greater show.

Getting bored of this show now. The non existent plot coupled with the non sensical action scenes are really starting to grate. Would rather watch the bad batch . Love the way Mando can't take his helmet off presumably because he's now phoning in his lines but boka tan can because of something something reasons, I mean she's doing f-all else so is available for filming.

As much as I barely enjoy oddball episodes like this, I just don't know wtf they're doing with the overall plot. Mando with his darksaber means sod all now, and I can't really see the plot going anywhere in particular. I keep asking myself "what was the point of xyz in season2 if..." because everything has been undone.
