I really enjoyed it. Moves quite fast storyline wise as it's just over 90 mins.
If you liked the humour in Ms Marvel you will love this. Kamala definitely plays a big part in the film and has a lot of funny one liners with Carol Danvers, as she is the ultimate Captain Marvel fangirl. A lot of the trailer gives a sort of false narrative of the storyline, but that's often done on purpose. I would say Monica Rambeau is the weakest character. Carol, Kamala and Fury get all the best lines.
As promised in the trailers, huge ramifications for the MCU so wait for the (single) mid credits scene. There is also a just before credits scene that feels like a mid credits scene. Both have cameos that made my jaw drop (bear in mind I don't read spoilers or reviews or YouTube crap before watching a new movie so maybe these are known already).
I'm gonna go 7.5/10 might be an 8 on second viewing when it hits streaming.
i could have done with an extra minute for a post credits scene tbh , and I don't want every Marvel film to be sub 100 minutes, but here it felt about right.

"The Marvels" appears to be set to open at $60 million to $65 million this weekend, which would be one of the lowest debuts of a Marvel Cinematic Universe film.
All my local cinemas are fully booked out for this. Might be because there hasn’t been much on recerntly and this is the first mainstream family friendly action movie in a while.
I still think the figures from the international market will be stronger than expected, especially from the UK, meaning the far weaker US opening figures will get a slight boost. I think there's lots of noise as lots of media places right now are ONLY basing their "it will make thing........" on the low US figures without looking at international sales but it'll still be a box office bomb irrespective.

They had some booking numbers from some where in Paris I think and it was performing worse than Morbius, I think it’ll end up doing better than that, but it seems there’s little buzz about this anywhere.
Hmm, my local cinema, a Friday night, what you’d expect to be peak time viewing, 8:20pm and 9:10pm, you’d be lucky if there are a dozen seats already booked through both showings. No doubt there will be some who haven’t decided to go yet or just rock up and decide what to watch, but it’s not looking good at the moment.
Just back from the cinema, mixed feelings, it was fine in parts but some of it didnt work for me. Agree with @rp2000 there was some weak character moments that was a forced a little much. Kamilla was a tad grating in parts but was funny in others. Rambeau was fundamental to the story but did feel a tad out of place. Sprinkled with humour but didnt feel cataclysmic enough. Overall I enojyed it but a little underwhelming. 6/10.
Rambeau just had an explanation for everything she knew the technicaliies no matter how far fetch or outrageous and had an answer for everything.
