The Marvels

Not to jump on the box office bandwagon but somewhere around a $400m total sounds about right to me, I don't think the flood of news around low pre-sales will be "that" representative of the final sales as international sales in places like the UK will still be quite high even if US pre-sales look low.

It's projected to open at roughly double what Blue Beetle made in the US, but I still think the international market is where this thing'll make most of its money.

Lots of films have felt pretty fat in last year so hopefully good thing. I dont mind 15 minutes less if its not just keeping some filler.

Got the tickets booked for Friday so no more trailers for me. Hope it is not too bad. Phase 4 certainly been underwhelming by a mile.

We're in Phase 5 now.

Phase 4 was
Black Widow (Crap)
Shang-Chi (Enjoyable)
Eternals (I liked it)
Spider-Man: No Way Home (Excellent)
Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness (Decent)
Thor: Love and Thunder (Absolute crap)
Wakanda Forever (Bang average)

Black Widow (Crap)

Eternals (I liked it)
Spider-Man: No Way Home (Excellent)
Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness (Average)
Thor: Love and Thunder (Absolute crap)
Wakanda Forever (Bang average)

My thoughts on those, not a lot of difference :)

Feminists UNITE!

I have to ask why even post in this thread? If all you're going to do in every post is say it's going to be rubbish and flop because it's a feminist woke film.

Would agree with that summary. Phase 4 was definitely a mixed bag with a couple films dragging the average up. Though I don't think Phase 4 was helped by some odd films - Black Widow pretty much being her origin story after she was dead, Eternals and Shang-Chi seemingly being standalone films.

The trailers look like this could go either way but hopefully it'll be good as I think the MCU needs to up the average.
