Just fired it up and the initial part of the game seems smooth, this is on my laptop at 1080p with a 2070 Maz Q, ray tracing max, all else max, fidelity fx off, not sure I need that on, and DLSS @ 70%.
I preloaded the other day, just started it up at 5pm today without any issues so not sure I can be of much help

The best story game I have played in ages was Last of us 2. I did this a few weeks back. It does drag on a bit towards the end. It can also get a bit repetitive, but if you haven't already played it I urge you to try. I know it a PS title, you may have a ps5 or ps4's are probably cheap now.

The problem is UK game pass it gets stuck @ 9% with no way past that right now. If you get stuck & have a VPN you can connect to US game pass & it downloads fine (you need to connect back to UK before launching though!) but the UK game pass is broken so no way to install right now
Seems to run fine on my soon to be gone 3080, RTX is nice but DLSS is greyed out for some reason...

Ok thanks for the info. Someone @ MS might have woken up & been made aware as its changed to an actual error message now (even though its unhelpful!). Spoke too soon it let me delete the 9% then redownload now its stuck @ ……. the exact same 9% again! Pathetic app with minimal QA

My problem is the bloody game just won't start. Thought maybe they screwed up the unlock time but it's still not working, even through re-installs it just fails to initialize. Good thing the game directory isn't closed to users with gamepass so I can try to troubleshoot.

I just got so fed up with all the technical crap that happens with Game Pass for PC that I bought an Xbox Series S. It lets me install and play without any issues at all. If I like a game then I’ll buy it on Steam at some point.

so maybe I get it on there. Lots of people are having this 9% download issue it seems if you tried to preload yesterday after 4PM when the game was in limbo & supposed to be unlocked but it was not & you tried to pre-load it gets corrupted & seems no way to fix it. I tried 4 different Win 10 installations on different partitions same result every single time & 100 of GBs of wasted corrupt data

It does not work on the xbox 1x, it is next gen only. So series X|S.
Just saw that does not download for me there either I think its an account based issue caused by the corruption yesterday when I made the foolish mistake of trusting it would work ok when it said it was unlocked
as the countdown timer was on 0 00 0000 so I clicked install & its never gone past 9% since then! Reported it on twitter pc game pass along with a few others but no response yet!
