The mega 'What are you buying your better half for Christmas?' ideas, suggestions and gloat thread

Having moved house in October and the two kids birthdays also in October money has been damn tight this year. She's not too bad to buy for though, she's a massive reader and collects Folio Society books, so I got her the latest Stephen King book they've released. I've gotten her some other bits and bobs I'll know she will love but we agreed to a strict budget.

Apple AirPods
Miniature perfume set
Chocolates
Socks
Deodorant set

From the kids, to the wife. As the hey can’t afford to buy anything yet.
Slippers
PJ’s
Book

Wife this year wanted Lego (Flowers), Oversized Mug, Glass vases for bulbs (I have no idea, but she's adamant about them) A book and some other little bits and bobs. We keep the budget to £100 each

My partner and I have agreed not to buy presents for each other this year, and instead we're booking a holiday together.

To get around this, and to save myself from being dismembered, the dog has bought her some Hunter wellies and the cat has bought her White Co vouchers - I half hope she's not done similar for me so I've got one up on her!

The wife asked for a fitness watch/step tracker thing so I've ordered her a Fitbit Charge 6. Hopefully it'll do the job.
did they actually like it?
I bought one for me.

Even the longest strap was too short for me/ I could wear it on the last hole but I would have an imprint from the strap on my wrist, also it made my wrist ache I had to keep swapping it from one to the other :/, I'm not even fat or anything and I don;t have massive hands or wrists like a lot of men do.)
The screen is kinda finicky and I have to tap it multiple times to actually get it to turn on.
an example of how crap the screen is can be seen when trying to enable the "water lock" you have to try tapping the screen twice at different intervals and pressures until it actually recognises it and locks.
During any exercise thats tracking it seems your forced onto a crappy exercise screen when I would rather it just happen in the background.

etc go for a walk the watch screen gets changed to the crappy exercise states screen, I wish I could just swipe back to the normal clock face.

Other than that it seems fine enough, I wish I would have just spent the extra 80-100 and got a nice Garmin 425 and I think I will end up buying one.

I suspect fitbits are aimed at teenagers, might explain why the default straps are so small for tiny wrists.
Thankfully you can buy soft straps from 3rd parties, because the default silicone is a pile of ****

Mrs asked for new alloys and tyres as she'd seen some liked for her motor. She was, as usual unable to tell me what they were but tracked them down from an image
