She loves it.did they actually like it?
I bought one for me.
Even the longest strap was too short for me/ I could wear it on the last hole but I would have an imprint from the strap on my wrist, also it made my wrist ache I had to keep swapping it from one to the other :/, I'm not even fat or anything and I don;t have massive hands or wrists like a lot of men do.)
The screen is kinda finicky and I have to tap it multiple times to actually get it to turn on.
an example of how crap the screen is can be seen when trying to enable the "water lock" you have to try tapping the screen twice at different intervals and pressures until it actually recognises it and locks.
During any exercise thats tracking it seems your forced onto a crappy exercise screen when I would rather it just happen in the background.
etc go for a walk the watch screen gets changed to the crappy exercise states screen, I wish I could just swipe back to the normal clock face.
Other than that it seems fine enough, I wish I would have just spent the extra 80-100 and got a nice Garmin 425 and I think I will end up buying one.
I suspect fitbits are aimed at teenagers, might explain why the default straps are so small for tiny wrists.
Thankfully you can buy soft straps from 3rd parties, because the default silicone is a pile of ****
She's only using it for tracking daily steps atm. She likes the sleep analysis function too.
I think if she was hard-core into exercise/fitness then it'd be a bit basic and annoying for her.
I'm just glad she's finding a reason to want to hit daily step targets etc.
I read loads of reviews before buying it and the strap seemed to be an annoying factor for people. Seems they weren't wrong for you at least
