Anyone going to North of the Wall in Glasgow next weekend? Aura Noir, Destroyer 666, Cult of Fire, Necros Christos etc?

I so disappointed with Opeth at the moment.

Their last 3 albums have in my eyes been a real wasted opportunity.

I'm still waiting for a proper prog death metal album from them since Ghost Reveries which incidentally was one of their best albums.

Not going to happen. I think that side of Opeth is over, so until another band out-Opeths old Opeth we're SOL.

EDIT - as people in the comments have said, it's not that I dislike the fact Opeth have gone prog-rock and ditched the death metal, it's that the songwriting is much, much weaker and they're not making memorable songs like they used to.
