@Somnambulist Devin Townsend is really awesome. Not many artists are as open as him about things as himself and how he works and his struggles etc. Seen him quite a few times. Last year I saw one of his acoustic shows in London where he opened up quite a bit about the process of making an album and his struggles with mental health, addiction etc. Incredibly talented artist as well with a massive range in his music, and a massive voice.

Wikipedia says Thin Lizzy did this in early 80s with Slayer doing Thier track in the very late 80s. Who wrote the music and lyrics originally?

I've always thought it was slayer but just discovered this Thin Lizzy version today.

well i'll be damned

Ive only heard the Slayer version, this aint bad !

well, i knew the album was comming out, but not took that much notice, anyone heard of the new Nightwish Album HUMAN. :||: NATURE

Nightwish have it all on YT

I've listened to it quite a bit in the last week and I really love it. A bit different compared to the previous albums, but still a obvious Nightwish sound. I love how Floor gets to use her entire register during the album without overdoing it. Also really enjoy how Marko and Troy is used on the album too.

Hopefully I will be able to see them in December.

ive watched this loads of times, it brings tears to my eyes, i love this song, they need to do a floor and Tarja duet

I'm not sure how that would work out. It's a great song which I think Floor have managed to make even better. There is a video on Youtube comparing how the different singers have performed it, and Floor kicks the others out of the ground in this song. If you want to hear something that brings a tear to your eye, check out "The Poet and the Pendulum", specially the Wembley version, that one is making my eyes water every time I hear it.

On the topic of great covers my dad shared this with me (he's a big Led Zeppelin fan):

And then there's this. The original is a good song (Blue Oyster Cult) but for me this version is superior:
