Waiting for the new Soulfly album myself, pre-ordered the new Exodus album which is another 2 weeks off, if its anything like Exhibit A from a few years back it should be a great album.

Any going to Despised Icon and Parkway Drive on Sunday in London?
seen em both live, cannot wait :D

Edit: Also just found out that Despised Icon are splitting up by the end of this year :(

Anyone buy Periphery's debut album? I finally got my preorder today.
I've been listening to Bulb's work since 2007 and it's awesome to see him and Periphery finally get their album out. Their new vocalist is a grower, though I prefer Casey (their previous singer). I'm also missing their old drummer's style, especially on Icarus Lives!.

Awesome album though! Definitely check them out if you haven't already done so.

I like them they're not too bad, but for some reason i find that some of the songs never really get going as much as they should. Something almost seems to hold it back.

I think i'll try buying the album though so i can give it a good going over ;)

Where did you get it from, as it's not properly available to order online till July in the UK for some reason :(

If you like Periphery and want to listen to some instrumental stuff, you should check out Tosin Abasi's band - Animals as Leaders.

1st track on their album: Tempting Time

Man, you should check out Clutch, you'd love them. A good mix of all of those bands you like, they come under the genre stoner rock apparently:D Youtube mob goes wild.

Cool I will check them out. Thanks for the reply.

Couple of bands I really like at the mo. Prob. not heavy enough for some of you but Airbourne were spectacular live when I saw them last month. Loud isn't the word! Go see them - fantastic live old skool rock band.

My fave track...cheap wine and cheaper women

My brother told me to go check out Volbeat - man these guys are awesome too! Can't believe I hadn't heard of this band.

My fave track...Mr and Mrs Ness

TURN IT UP

See.. here's the problem.. you need to open your mind and listen to different styles of music rather than just 'this type' of music. :D
