* The Metal Thread *

Two Brighton based bands I've had the pleasure of seeing live :D

Last time I knew Echovirus was looking for a new lead singer so not sure what's going on with that but its a solid album.

Furyon are more Hard Rock but there songs are really good, especially live. Potentially could be very big in my opinion :)

Draconian - Bloodflower

Love that song and I love Draconian, wish they'd tour more often and come to England :(

I was searching through their back catalogue a while ago and I found one of their earlier Demos which I wish they'd remake. Fingers crossed its on their new album..doubt it though. Sound quality is naff but the way it kicks in is awesome, also flutes \o/

Ran across these guys whilst browsing YT, seem alright. Couldn't find them searching the thread so not sure if they've been posted.

Also new Turisas album out tomorrow :)

This isn't metal, but I still feel it'll have a few people interested in here.

Probably the most ferocious album I've heard recently.

Feburary has been a decent month for new albums. Been listening to Crowbar: Sever the Wicked Hand, DevilDriver: Beast and Deicide: To Hell With God. Then there is the new Cavalera Conspiracy album landed next month, not a bad start to the year so far. Sylosis' new album is due soon also from memory, if they better their last album then it will probably be played to death for months to come :D

I'm trying to learn the songs on John Petrucci's solo album, "Suspended Animation". Some really tasty melodies.

Can't wait for the new solo album, whenever it comes out.
Also, been revisiting Karnivool.
