I remember that old vBulletin software! Not from when OcUK used it though. I think it was thesite.org that used that layout and I remembered it from there. It was popular BBS software back then in the early 2000s.

The forum now runs on XenForo as far as I'm aware. Its heavily customised though to retain as much of the old VBul look as possible.

There was a previous forum that just got removed and a new one where you all had to sign up again?

The reason I ask, is when I signed up to this... I was sure I was a member of some OcUk forum before. But I took a few years away from OcUk once I graduated and focussed much more on other things.

Ahh what happened in the October 2002 nuke? Did the forum software get changed and anyone had to make new usernames?

The database was so badly corrupted that the only real solution was a complete blitz and rebuild. The mod team at the time were all pre-registered so that nobody pinched our names.

Likely had an account on the old forum yes. Back then I had a Hotmail account, went to this forum in 2009 when I got back into building, tried a forgotten password and it didn't find it, so signed up new.

I wasnt particularly bothered, or 100% sure I did have an account...

The days before last pass... Now I let someone else lose my passwords... Lol
