A less obvious choice that surprised and stunned me in equal measure was Borderlands 2, man it looks so crisp. I think it's style of graphics really shows off the higher resolutions.

Exactly. That's why I think 4k got named the 3k. 1080p 1440p would both be 1k but in reality there's a vast difference in my eyes, it's beautiful. 3k. i'll try borderlands 2.

Pft, pretty much every game that I've tried has been transformed by my x34. I can't imagine going back, now. The only thing thats bugging me a little is my 980ti, it copes well enough, but I feel like I need a little more grunt to really make the most of this res.

1440 wouldn't be 1K. 1K means 1 thousand. 1440 is NOT 1 thousand. You seem to be desperately trying to cling on to the #K nomenclature.

Me too. I'm think sticking another 1070 in @ Christmas but am suspicious of usin SLi. I know there is little difference in real world performance between a 1070 and 1080(i've had one).

So far I have had a pretty good experience with SLI....with one big *** notable exception...Deus Ex Mankind. The SLI profile (with the Overwatch pushed in via inspector) adds around 10fps, thats all.

So it might be worth it.

I am currently pushing a couple of 980s in SLI and at 21:9 I am maxing everything (note comments about Deux Ex)I chuck at it with decent (60+ )fps.

Gone back and played loads of games in "3k" and it makes everything look better. Mass effect 3 with sweetfx ,Deus ex, dead space, witcher 3 to name a few

This is exactly whats blown my mind with it. I have a new vigour to PC game again.

Had the same effect on me lads. It made me want to play through all my games again to experience them at that resolution.

The HD remaster of Darksiders 2 is another stunning game on these monitors.

just played through bulletstorm again in 3440x1440, had to use widescreen fixer but looks great
