I spent about £400 on a surprise first date. Alas it didn't have the ending I hoped for, although it was still good fun and I don't regret it one bit

lol well it was many years ago.. I was bonkers looking back and I find it hard to believe I did it. I flew over to America to see this girl hence the high price!

About a tenner, probably less. I like the great outdoors so tend to take the lady to somewhere open air (and free), and see if I can coax her into climbing through a hedge.
It's dates later on in the relationship which cost. Valentines day is going to make it past a ton easily, need to make up for forgetting last year

I couldn't spend that much unless I already knew them, any more than £100 quid or so and you are basically buying sex.
If you were a girl and you knew some bloke had spent a months wage on you, you would either think he was a bit of a desperate saddo but enjoy the date and not stay the night or let him stay the night because you feel you owe him. Seems like unnecessary pressure to me.
Just get a prostitute.
Obviously if she knows you have lots of money and it is nothing "special" for you then win win.
