The Mummy

i love his films, Last Samurai is an all-time fave. Jack Reacher too, haven't read the books so all the whingeing about him being nowt like the character didn't have an impact. thikn Interview w/ the Vampire would have been better if focused on him rather than boring moping Louis. can't be chewed w/ some things but Vanilla Sky is a great sci-fi flick, Rain Man and Collateral are excellent too.

It's a interesting take on the Mummy riff but, specifically about the trailer - they should NOT have used paint it black as the song, it doesn't fit well at all (either the Stones or the The Black Dahlia Murder version).

Haven't read something so badly judged on here for awhile..congrats.

Aha yeah, just a tad sweeping xD

I still really like 3! PSH's performance is fantastic!

As much crap as Cruise get's for his beliefs (perhaps rightly so, seeing as he is essentially THE public figurehead for Scientology and all it's hidden brutality), he's a damn fine actor and always gives stellar performances.

It's the age old argument of 'art over the artist' I guess. I feel the same way about Mel Gibson, his work is great and I've learnt to separate that from his sordid little beliefs.

Though ultimately, I've no intension of seeing this flick xD

17% so far on RT and 48% audience score. Seems about right after watching that last trailer. Looks complete guff.

I had to laugh when I saw that Baywatch has a higher approval rating from audiences.

Going to watch this at 2pm today, looking forward to it without getting overly excited.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Sofia Boutella was superb and imo a better Mummy than Arnold Vosloo but it is a different movie than the previous ones. She stole the show and perhaps made the female lead inconsequential.

I hope she will be back for more as it been left open like that.
