Saliba is massively overrated, Id take our cbs over Arsenals personally.
 
It is starting to get very frustrating indeed with our lack of any interest in proper goal scorers.

I think the false 9 thing might be running it's course and we need to see a return to a strategy that deploys a more traditional no 9.

The Newcastle game highlighted where we are at currently. We can create (even if we are very predictable) but we cannot take our chances. None of the prayers we have are specialized in finishing chances. (Because none of them are strickers)

We need at a minimum a TOP quality left winger and a TOP quality striker then we might be in business. When I say top quality we need a summer window where we sign Rafael Leao or Nico Williams and Vlahovic or Gyokeres.

That's the level of player we need to sign. But for some odd reason Arteta just won't do it!

I can't see anything happening in January, the club won't buy a second choice now just because who they want is not available until the summer. If the unthinkable happens and we go out fa cup to man utd then realistically is all we have left back to a top 4 finish?

Looks like we're stuck with a Martinelli - Havertz - Sterling front 3. Not particularly fear inducing, Trossard the only forward player we have on the bench too.

Saliba out for a few weeks now too. How can we go from having a back 4 which doesn't change pretty much all season to now having a back 4 which is riddled with injuries and not had the first choice line-up for months?

Continuously being overplayed for the past 2/3 seasons being able to play pretty much your strongest 11 week in week.. it was bound to catch up eventually.
