hooflungdung?

heeflungdung!

all over the inside of his case

looks like the cable monster's crapped inside the case...and out the back.

Love the addition of the PCI slot fan to aid cooling!!!

Bet this would look top notch with a few hours spent on braiding and cable management.

Are you up to the challenge?

You've charged at the wrong man! ;)

However I will endevour to tidy my case up asap.

Going to sort out the rear fan cooling first, then do the cable management in the same session :D

Btw, if you guys think THAT's bad you should see the state of Xel! :p

Not a new case but started sorting out the wires the other week. Was a bit tough to get both the 24pin/4pin going round the back like it is but I managed to get everything sorted out so I could get the side panel back on. Still a work in progress but haven't had any time other the last few days. :o

Fraid not my friend, "heeflungdung" in my response to hooflungdung referred to you. But all in good humour of course.

really think your case would look nice with a bit of sorting. A lot of potential in there

Gave it a bit of a dust with the inclusion of my shiney new Asus 5870 :).

The fliters I added on my 922 really do a good job of keeping the rubbish out, not cleaned this system out for a fair while (Picture taken before I cleaned).

Long graphics card though, a lot longer than my previous 4870.

Couple of months of fiddling with my pc and i've eventually ended with this. Haven't quite got the hand of my N97 yet so photos are awful.

The outside, The top DVD drive is normally stealthed, just need some more double sided tape.

In the dark, Wanted to go for a subtle look. With room lights on, You can see in through the side window and with them off, The pipes glow. Didn't want some overpowering glow in the corner of my room.

The usual innards shot. With the side window on, No wires apart from the 24 pin and the two fan connectors are visible. And all the wires are relatively out of the way of the airflow. Not too bothered about going crazy with wire management.

Red fans would look sweet :P

Red fans would look sweet :P
There is a red fan in the PSU and one at the rear, Outside of the case and behind the rad. I'll be moving that one inside the case though because there isn't enough room to get decent airflow.

Both fans are at half speed when the computer is idling, But when its under load they come on and give a nice red glow to the inside of the pc. On the second picture it looks like the fan is on, But its actually at half speed and very hard to see, My camera decided to show it though.

Also I went for the Blue outsides, Red insides look. Would be a bit of a PITA to replace the big boy fan.

Sorted the fans out, Looks better now.

Idling, Both fans are now completely off. Both are temperature controlled however so nothing gets too hot.

Couldn't have gotten a worse pic, But just to get the point across, When computer is under load. It really doesn't look that ghastly and the fans are surprising not bright at all, But light up the case enough.
