If you can find yourself a VA one on eBay grab it! You can tell by the finish on the screen, matte = generally VA, glossy = generally TN.
The VA version of this panel is IMMENSE. I picked up used 24" VA on eBay a month ago, prestine condition with all extras and box etc - £100!![]()
.Nice, ive got a 4870 also which is great for gaming on a 24" screen.
) might go for a 5870.
.Thats also very good to hear, was going to look for another 4870 for some cheap crossfireX but if money isnt tight (now i got a job) might go for a 5870.
Either way my GPU is the next upgrade in my sights.

I would wait to see what nvidia has lined up im sure your 4870 will last a few more months
Even if you still want to go for a 5870 the price should drop a lot after the release of the GTX3xx series![]()

Much neater wiring in the new case, you must be pleased with the result
Quick question - Why don't the 4870's look the same?
Nice set up Marlos. I'd be tempted to stick another cooler on that Q6600 and clock the twangers off it. Should perform really well with those to GPUs in SLi
Thanks for your comment G-Dubs, but i'm not into overclocking.
besides which you're video cards will be bottlenecked by your cpus speed
Replaced stock case fans from side cover and front panel with better cfm fans, removed the blue green fan from vga cooler, and added an ac ryan blue-orange to the cpu. Is it in any way improved from my last pics in terms of colours? Does the xigmatek work colourwise with the others? I've mostly got ac ryan fans now and considering replacing the enermax and xigmatek with ac ryans to at least keep a theme of one fan brand
A lot ofboards seem to be using adjacent rather than alternating slots recently, his is right (although might be in 2/3 instead of 0/1)Just noticed your RAM appears to be kn adjacent slots, you sure that's right?
