The New Cases Gallery

i did have a lianli full tower full watercooled system, with a 4GHz Q9550 adn 4870x2, but then i reached my overdraft limit. was an amazing 6 months while it lasted

Bought an 8 pin extension so I could route it round the back, but I've also gained an even more obvious white USB header cable for my card reader :/. Maybe some black SATA cables and an extension for that USB header are in order next. As well as some of the pre-braided range in the future.

You could just braid all that stuff you mentioned yourself? I've done a lot of mine now to great effect.

I would but I'm not confident enough to try it yet. The thing with the pre-braided extensions is I'll be able to carry on using them if I change PSU in the future. Whereas if the PSU is braided then you'll have to redo it if you upgrade.

I was thinking more of the USB header cable and power cables. I'm using braided extensions for the motherboard, not get round to braiding the case cables yet, but I shall at some point.

Braiding really is incredibly easy though mate, I bought unbraided extensions and braided them myself.

I see, I might give it a try some time then. I'll have to buy a longer cable though first. That's literally the best that header cable can be routed, too short to go behind the motherboard or even behind the SATA/Power cable.

@Cursed, braiding stuff is a doddle mate, there really is nothing to it. the front panel wires were the easiest ones to do I found, PCIe and 24-pin ones were a nightmare to begin with, trying to remove the wires out of the connector can be really tricky, however once you get the knack it gets easier.

Nice one mate, I thought about spraying mine myself, however I wasn't confident enough, it would have turned out crap if I did it, so I sent it off to be powder coated instead!

That looks really good though, I will look forward to seeing the end result.

I'm an amateur and have never picked up a can of spray paint before but I picked it up quickly! Yes I was frightened of ruining a £235 case but seriously it is very easy, I find always spray on a flat surface as will minimize drips, cardboard is best as it doesn't stick when drying, and if you do get drips just get some fine glass paper and coat again, you can't wreck it really as its just a case or rinse and repeat until happy with the results.

Just do 6-8 layers very thin, take you're time and leave for 10 minutes between each coat (first 2 coats use grey primar.)
