finished my new build yesterday

fractal design arc mini

them prodigy cases look amazing, id love to get one but down sizing would cost way too much

barely any X58 mini itx boards about so id have to go Z77 which means new ram and other stuff. :(

Downsized into a Bitfenix Prodigy delivered today by OCUK :D

Managed to fit my MSI 7970 lightning in it :D

poor phone pics but you get the idea :P

That does look a very nice case, id be tempted to fit a side window the shape of the graphics card and paint the yellow stripe white on that card.

Congrats on a tidy first build Dodger. :)

1 Important thing though.

Either remount the heat sink rotate it 180 degrees so the fans blow to the back of the case which is optimal for that or turn the fans around on it which isn't optimal but better than how it is, as it is the back fan is fighting the 120mm noctua fan for air & you may well end up with a very toasty case from all the heat build up.

Pretty important to fix that if you want your nice new rig to stay OK.

I thought I had already configured the heatsink fan using a pull/pull configuration?

You have but it looks a lot like the fans are facing the wrong way, good thing you posted so someone could say. :)

Yep it's a hassle to flip it the other way around but better that than overheating problems.
