The New Cases Gallery

Been busy putting the final touches to my new case, ordered a few enermax cluster 120mm,and 140 mm fans to add to it(with free haribo :D ),bought some uv spiral tubing to add to the h100i,and a couple of uv leds, tbh i'm a little underwhelmed with the uv effect, but its noticeable.

The case itself is overall,an improvement on the antec 1200,which although had good airflow and was fairly roomy,it felt smaller inside than the stryker, also the cable management with the striker is way better(although your not getting to see mine as it looks like black snake mating season :p

So overall i'm well glad i upgraded from the antec,i think i've now got the bug and am starting to chop up her Zalman z9 and see what i can do with it :D
so far i've taken out the drive bays at the bottom, cleared up the front a bit(cos the airflow wasn't the best) and fitted a coolermaster 200 mm fan :D that should improve things a bit, dont have much for inside it though, just gonna use an old amd 2800 i had lying about and use it for playing blurays etc,and maybe burning.
Will post some pics if anyone's interested once it's done;)

Since I decided to go the route of GTX 760's in SLi for a change I had to swich back from Micro Atx Cases to full tower...so back with the 600T right now!

Added a fan mod to help increase the air flow into the chasis by hanging the corsair 200mm fan.

Just need to tidy up some of the cables and I'm good to go!

Well the wave master had only 80mm fans, 2 on the front 1 in the back. I cant remember how warm it got but I had 2 6800gt cards and I bet you could have fried a egg between them, so much so, I ended having to put a 120mm fan on the side of the case to keep the cards cool...

The wave master had only 1 thing going for it, it looked damn nice

I'm still rocking a WaveMaster at home for my 3570k rig, performs admirably but as you say cooling is limited. Have just upgraded to a 650D which arrived this morning.

I've now got an ATC-201 and a WaveMaster I can't bring myself to get rid of because they're things of beauty from an age when CoolerMaster knew how to make an awesome all aluminium case.

So, decided to downsize so I could have my case on the desk, so went with an MATX Haswell build in the end ... Decided I wanted the G1 Sniper M5 which unfortunately had lime green PCI-E slots and a few other bits, so ended up rattle can painting the "white" rings that came with the SP/AF fans so match ... don't think it came out too bad in the end.

I need to ditch the H100i cables asap and a general tidy up inside!

Source of the windowed Cosmos II?

Sorry only just saw your message, it was on ebay, chilled-pc, but I don't know if I can recommend, the door cut was fine, but the perspex was all scratched up and only tape was used and not used well to hold it on so started falling in to the PC, but I asked for a new piece and he sent that out and I did it myself.

How are you finding the upgraded fans? much better than the stock 350D/H100i fans?

Im also running a H100i in a 350D and have been thinking about replacing all the fans with the Corsair AF/SP fans.

I never gave the stock fans a try to be honest, I had read and watched enough reviews to know I wanted the benefits of performance and quietness of the SP/AF series. I went with the "Quiet" editions in the end as they still perform very well. If any cheaper "Performance" edition SP120's appear on the MM i'll probably snap them up as the H100i would benefit from the extra 500 rpm fans over the Quiet edition.

Cooling all round seems pretty good so far, everything is a few degrees hotter than I want at the moment but thats because my office is in the sun a lot of the day and gets quite warm. Very pleased so far though.

Nice touch matching up the Sniper board colors with the fan inserts. Gives it a really unique and clean look planned to do the same but waiting on the new LGA 2011 matx boards for the color choice.

I've just upgraded to a 650D myself and have a Coolermaster ATC110 sitting idle after 10+ years service. Lovely case.
