The New Cases Gallery

@ SimonMaltby: Epic!

Bit late adding a pic of my 350D system but I have just installed my new HIS 7950 IceQ and remembered to take a photo while the side was off. Apologies for pic quality, naff photographer and terrible angle, as it was leaning against the end of a sofa.

The only things I want to add now are some better fans then it I can move on to updating my peripherals.

I think it is a weird perspective caused by the angle of the case and ace photography skills :p.

It is level and the card has a metal rib to prevent bending but that photo does look odd.

Why not remove HDD cage if your not using it m8

I left it there with the intention of getting a 1Tb for storage but I am finding I can manage fine with a 256Gb SSD and online storage.

Believe it's riveted in and therefore would take an 1/8" drill bit to remove (IIRC)

I just checked and the cage is held in by 4 screws that can be removed from the underside of the case. I may do that when I get a couple of new fans for the front.

My modest build and terrible attempt at cable tidying:

Core i5 2400 | Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 | 16GB DDR3-1600 | Crossfire 2GB 7850s
Silverstone Argon A01 | Samsung 830 128GB SSD | 256GB and 500GB Samsung 7200RPM
Aerocool X-Predator X3 with 200mm front and top fans, side and rear 140mm Deepcool UF-140s

So, decided to downsize so I could have my case on the desk, so went with an MATX Haswell build in the end ... Decided I wanted the G1 Sniper M5 which unfortunately had lime green PCI-E slots and a few other bits, so ended up rattle can painting the "white" rings that came with the SP/AF fans so match ... don't think it came out too bad in the end.

I need to ditch the H100i cables asap and a general tidy up inside!

Superb job

Those fans make me want to change mine!!!!!

Took a close up of the inside of mine this morning whilst i decide what I want to do to it.

Think your fans would be a good choice

Really temped by the corsair PSU with green braided cables

Also debating swapping out the top SR1 for a stealth so I can have my fans back.

Or the alternative is put the side panel on and stop wasting money!!!!!!

Youve done a very nice job with the cables tbh. Looks nice and un cluttered and nothing to block airflow. If the psu cables were braided it would really set it off.:)

Tbh TwsT, i think it looks grand as it is cable wise. Makes the tubing stand out very nicely. Green cables would detract from the look imo.

Love the build and case m8 I am tempted to move out of my TJ08E into one myself.

^ Cheers. I think Terrier_Jimlad's build is tidier than mine and his colour matched fans are great but as I don't have a window I won't get OCD about it :D.

My wife and kids are away this week so I might spend a few hours playing with overclock settings and remove the HDD bay to improve airflow. I can't afford to get any extra fans for a while due to new school uniform but I can fiddle around with clock settings while drinking rum, although that may not be the best idea :p.

Thanks for the comments guys, I knew you'd like the painted fan rings. I still have half a tin of the paint if anyone wants it to do theirs, should be plenty to do 1-2 coats on a handful of fans.

Spent yesterday doing a bit more cable management on the back, will get some pics up. Temps are really good, especially for the Quiet editions.
