The New Cases Gallery

Is that material or plastic braid? I just use some ac ryan on mine.

That's some plastic/maretial braid ontop of black sata :P

I find that with red it still lets some red out here and there. But just make sure its nicely compact.

Infairness, plastic braid sould do the job, this stuff is amazing but the only reason I have some is from my farthers old work stuffs :P

When you braid your cables how do you finish off the ends or do you leave them as is?

I cut the braid with a red hot knife to seal them and then use heat shrink and a nicky clark hair drier.

Just did this red cable. Still not black but much better.

Another attempt at posting my pics

Heres some pic of my current system, from when i built it. Which is a loooong time ago now.
New pc build is about to start though :)

Was my first attempt at case modding, and watercooling. Wiring could have been neater now i look back. Never knew to mod the mobo tray etc though back then.

Rom, the tubing going to the CPU block from the rad looks quite tight. Has it not kinked?

It hadnt kinked for around 2 years since i built it. Its quite tight like you say. But flow and temps have always been fine.
I did replace all the tube with Tygon this year. And thats a lot softer, so theres some very minor deformatiom. But seems ok. Rig is going to be retired to my download machine soon enough.

Temps wise CPU around 30 / 35
GPU 1 around 33 / 37
GPU 2 around 35 / 39

Notice my little mod on the second NV78 cooler...This was before they done an Sli kit. :)

Very neat :)

How secure are cable ties? (If that's what they are) I'd feel paranoid about it loosing grip eventually.

Are both cards under water?

Nice job :) Must have been a tight fit. I found watercooling in my PC-A05B awkward, but yours looks very tidy, nice one :)

Got round to replacing my Eclipse after a good few years of use, decided to go with the Lian Li V1000Z

*edit* Moved the cathodes around and took off the yellow akasa bands on the fans, still need to sleeve the front panel wires and buy a sata dvd drive
