This W2 case has a GTX 980 Ti ,,, no idea how big those cards are, but looks quite abit longer then my r9 290

This is why i dont understand why people go for these small cases.. your just limiting yourself for future upgrades, get a real tower!![]()
Yeah go for a large case if your going to use all the room up. But people who has these huge cases and theres enough room to turn a double decker bus round in and that with everything in
But this is the specs of my gpu taken from the XFX website and you can see how much more room I have to spare from my pics. Sorry I cant be more helpful.

That is perfect, thank you very much. I have just seen someone else show the same thing so we're pretty much back on for the W2. Cheers!
Also, your other comment is why I'd like the W2. I don't want a massive case. I have two SSD's (one would suffice if bought a high capacity m.2 drive), two HDD's (one would suffice if I built a NAS), one GPU, standard 160mm ATX PSU, ATX (or mATX is fine) motherboard, a few fans, CPU tower, that's basically it. I don't need room for tons of drives, pumps, reservoirs, radiators, etc. I want a compact system that looks dope and doesn't have loads of ventilation holes everywhere to leak sound.
The case has a fan control on the rear of the case (12volts, off, 7volts) so you could run the case fans from the controller. You could run your fans at 7volts for a silent pc when not gaming, then whack them up to 12volts when your gaming.
I have all my drives tied down to the bottom of the case, as I wanted them on show. I have taken out the 5.25/hard drive cage out all together to make more room for cables, and I bought a USB DVD writer to use with this case, instead of using a internal one.
You're limited to three fans for the Fractal Define R4's fan controller. I intend to have five fans in the W2 so I might be better off with the Phanteks PWM splitter and have them ramp up and down with the CPU. That also means I won't have to reach around (TWSS) to the fan speed controller at the back of the case.
Thats a idea,, having the case fans on the motherboard, my only prob with that, more ugly cables showing, I have always had my fans running at full speed, I just buy the speed of fan I require and run them straight of the psu, as its easier.
had to find your old post just to see what you changed sipha
any chance you could take a few photos of your LED placement? i have the same case and struggle to keep the front side LEDs down due to the holes and the way to front panel fits on
