Got myself a nifty 50 (f1.8 stm) for my 100d on xmas day. Havnt had a chance to use it yet, but will be out and about tomorrow taking some new pics

It's funny, seems so many are moving to an A6000 (which is a superb camera to be fair) yet I've made the jump from one to a full frame Nikon. Considered keeping my A6000 but it's collecting dust so may put it up on the MM next week.
Sony a6000 and the 18-200mm le. I think I like it so far
Was fed up on carrying the 60d around

Even though the NEX cameras have got bigger over the years and the a6000 is no exception.
Still they are great cameras !

Wanted to step up to full frame and tried the A7 series. The A7Rii is probably the only one I'd have gone for but the price was too high and I'd need new glass which isn't exactly cheap when you go FE.
The battery life and handling are considerably better on the D750 imo, and good, fast native glass is more readily available. Plus the Nikon uses a Sony sensor so you still get the incredible dynamic range.
I had no intention of buying a camera on the weekend but was in a shop and needed some retail therapy so ended up buying a Fuji X100T. Love it!! I ideal for times I can be bothered to carry my DSLR or just want to do some street stuff. I was in Bath for the Christmas Market and ended up using this all weekend even though I had my DSLR in the car.
Another Camera I would love to own !

my father gave me some of his old manual minolta lenses.. lets hope i got the right converter.. sorry took the photo on the phone
That converter works great with my MD mount Vivitar macro. No faults at all.
So picked up a replacement for my battlescared Pentax K-500.
A new Pentax K3ii, and man is it sooo much better than the K-500, its feels like I could club a small child to death with it one minute and take a great picture the next and not have to worry about the blood or brains.
Picked it up with a battery thing, a 18-135mm lens and a 50mm for £800 and brought a 55-300mm and 100mm macro for an extra £400.
Bit of a bargain, already enjoying the better auto focus and ISO performance plus the in body stabilisation

Very nice - I have the K3 and cant see me ever parting with it.
18-135 good lens
50mm superb sharpness for so little cost
55-300 good up to 280mm
100mm on my shopping list - have you used it yet?
35mm on my shopping list - supposed to be as good as the 50mm

I have recently purchased a used Canon EF 24-105 F4 L IS USM lens to replace my ageing Sigma 17-70 DC F2.8-4. The sigma has been my work horse for many, many years.
Nice and quick and quite auto focusing. Not as sharpe as Sigma 50mm DG prime, however a lot cheaper !

The lens I mentioned is referred to as replacing a bag of primes or something along those lines. Basically prime quality on a zoom. I went from the 35mm to the 18-35mm and theres next to nothing in it in terms of quality. But for the money, yes everybody should have the 35mm prime as it's excellent. I needed a wider lens which is why I went with the sigma.
