Bought a Q before but was forced to sell it to pay some medical bills when I had a suspected brain tumour  got the all clear so celebrating by picking up the titanium model :D

Excellent news and a lovely camera to pick up in celebration.

Could I ask where did you get the strap from, looks nice.

https://www.hyperioncamerastraps.com/ cost the princely sum of 13 euros

That neck strap looks very uncomfortable!

They are.
Used one myself and unless you have a collar on you end up with a very sore mark on the back of your neck.

Each to their own, I've used one for 9+ months on my X-Pro2 and love it, the material is soft (unlike the similar-looking strap that came with the Q) and flexible, I sling it over my shoulder and have done full day trips and hikes with no problems. I'd imagine with a larger DSLR and/or zoom lens it'd get uncomfortable but so would pretty much any strap around a bare neck.

Lots of happy people reviewing them here https://www.facebook.com/HyperionCameraStraps/

It'll work like a 38.6-168mm zoom would on full frame - which is an awkward focal range. Not wide enough for landscape/group shots, not fast enough for portraits, not long enough for tele. Maybe it'd be good for video? Dunno.

Yeah, many people have hyped up the 24105 as some great lens, or affordable Le lens etc. But the truth is it is kind fo mediocre even on FF and on a crop sensor it just doesn't really work. 17-55mm f/2.8 would work out a lot better. a 24-70mm f/2.8 does ok for an event lens because you get 35 +50+ 85 + 105mm primes in 1 offering but only at f/2.8.

I'd disagree the 24-105mm is a great walk about lens on full frame I loved mine until the dreaded error01 appeared it's a great balance bettween weight and focal length. Which reminds me I must get it fixed!

I had the 24-105 on my 40/50+60D canons, it was my favourite everyday lens.

Anyway, in an attempt to rekindle my enthusiasm for photography, and my impending travels to BKK and NZ, i treated myself for my birthday....

Next on my list is a Sigma 30mm F/1.4 then a 10-18 Sony

It's Is is just not that good and a lot of distortion. The focal length is great though
