Though it's double the size and speed of my current one and I now have 4 batteries and a more convenient method to charge them on the fly :).

New Zeiss Glass. £14.99's worth of it! Cost less than the adapter to fit it onto my A7.

Really impressed with both lenses. I don't have the cash to splash on the more expensive sony lenses. The 50mm f1.8 fe lens was in my price range, but the AF looks rubbish and I may as well just get a manual focus lens for a fraction of the price.

I sold earlier this year a takumar 50m 1.4 lovely lens and out shines the nifty fifty with creamy bokeh but some are going for silly money I picked mine reasonably priced at the time.

Really need to do your home work when looking for old lens some are great but most not very good so many different versions of the same lens and many dealers hide the tail tail signs when showing pics.

Yeah I'm starting to love the idea of vintage lenses on my Fuji, even though I am terrible at MF :p

I've had some good results with my Nikon 50/f1.8 and the budget Sigma zoom 70-300 I had. Wondering what primes might be fun, but as you say they all seem to be pretty expensive anyway.
