Very nice, where did you pick it up from? Hoping to order one next week, trading in a couple of old canon speedlites.
LCE has it in stock. Jessops is waiting for stock but have 10% off.

Nice - that and the Tamron 28-75mm must be a killer combo for those that don't want to fork out for the GMs.
That's what everyone says and then a few weeks later, the next 'final' lens turns up

What about a backup for your backup? Can't be too carefulI did say almost...
Realistically speaking, I need a zoom between 24-70 range as a backup.

I so want one. You find so much to take photos of with macros.
I sold my backup for my backup, an entire Canon system
Wheels are about to get set in motion here, Canon bodies are ready to box up and I need to get the trunk for the 600 II down from the attic.
Don't get me wrong, I still prefer the colours from Canon. Sony colours still seems weird to me, too much green and it gets confused by LED light far too easily.
I would have stayed with Canon and gone R mount if the bodies were good, but the current pricing for them are ridiculous. £3k for a L glass...
Try and find one second hand like I did, I paid £530 with a 10% off code through eBay.I so want one. You find so much to take photos of with macros.
