Before the camo cover goes on.

How are you using the anchor point?
Attaching a Peak Design Slide strap to each lug so that the body/lens hangs vertically downward on my right hip when carried diagonally from my left shoulder. One thing though, I've noticed that the clip mechanism on the Slide then rubs against the left side of the base of the camera. I thought about getting a gel cover for the body but that would mean I couldn't use the extension grip so somewhat reluctantly I've attached my battery grip instead.

I tried mine the same way yesterday and in some ways it was better but not in others. I have a smallrig L bracket on my R4 so no rubbing for me.

Yes it does work with an L bracket but then I find I can't use the little grip extender thingy which helps me when using the 200-600.
Which other way have you configured carrying the body with the lens?

I usually mount top left camera and bottom right on the L bracket. The bracket I only bought to expand the grip, not sure if I want to buy a battery grip. it’s just uncomfortable without anything. Shame it’s not like my eos r grip wise :(

Are you not using the lugs on the 200-600 to attach a strap?

The 100-400 doesn't have lugs so use that and others with the config posted above. I tried various ways on the 200-600 including above and only one lug but was worried about the weight on the mount.

Dreadful how exactly?
I bought one from my local sony store. On my A7Rii it was dreadful, just about every shot looked like it had missed focus. I took it back and they said it was fine after testing it on other cameras (not a mk2). Rep came out from sony and agreed there was an issue as he had the same issues on a mk2 he had so it was exchanged and a new one ordered. Exactly the same problems with the new lens when it arrived. I was looking at a A7Riii anyway so I upgraded and it sorted the focus issues out. From 24 to 50mm it was ever so slightly sharper than the 24-105 and was usable but from 50mm onwards my god it was soft. I went back and tried another sample, same results with that one so I cut my losses and got rid. I've seen a few reviews say the same as me and some that rate the 24-105 a better lens. I showed sony a number of posts from google of people complaining about missed focus but as it was only on the mk2 I doubt they've done anything about it. He was supposed to be reporting back to sony about it though.

Ah ok, makes sense why you weren't a fan then! :) I've got one paired with my A7R3 and it's spot on to be fair.

Strange how it was so bad on the mk2 bodies though but then I have an eos r that refuses to work with the canon 100mm macro L, the lens is noisy as hell with the IS on and is unusable. Same lens works fine one my R4 with the mc-11 lol.

Just received today Olympus E-M1 MkIII.

Sure it doesn't bring anything new in most areas/performance over MkII.
But few new features like hand held high res mode perfect for landscapes and focusing point joystick+releasing that one button for direct ISO adjustment fit well to my usage scenario/nags I've had.

Not wanting to start collecting more cameras/bodies I asked one shop I've used lately about trade offer for my MkII with only ~1100 mechanical shutter shots, because of having used mostly electronic shutter.
(+missing previous winter's most photographics weathers because of three week flu and no winter this year)
At that time pre-ordering was going on, so also got extra battery and backpack to sweaten the deal.

As side note at the time of "pulling the trigger" (or shouldn't it be shutter in this case) also Coronavirus was still limited to southern Europe.
So I was thinking that when having knowledge of when shop gets shipment I would do day trip in bus to visit shop.
But then number of confirmed cases here in Finland started increasing faster and gonig in hundreds and sitting 4½ hours per direction in bus (though guess it would have been mostly empty) didn't sound anymore that "attractive".
So switched to shipping MkII to them in Monday (didn't want to send it before weekend) with shop getting it in Tuesday and getting MkIII in Wednesday.

Because it is amazeballs? :p

Joking aside, if you're not into 144hz gaming or need thunderbolt connectivity it is an incredibly good value for money giving what it offers - I paid €580 and it got me...

34" Ultrawide 21:9 Screen
3440x1440p QHD Display
IPS Display - 178 degree viewing angles
99% RGB Coverage, also it comes calibrated out of the box with the profile saved in it (you get a report with it)
5m:1 Contrast ratio
DisplayPort 1.2 Tech (if needed)
USB 3.0 Hub built in
Built in speakers are also decent for what they are
Freesync tech, also overclockable upto 75hz - so for your regular single player FPS games/non competitive stuff it does a great job.
PnP tech
It has some handy software where it effectively splits itself into multiple monitors, amazing for productivity.

Speaking from my brief experience on it so far, its a photographers/videographers dream. Amazing colour replication, so much space for tools and viewing space! You can work on panoramic images without having to zoom!

In short, any other monitor of this size is a considerble hike in price over for small incremental upgrades.

When you start getting to the bigger upgrades like 144hz you're talking a good few hundred more.

I didn't want a new monitor until I read your post and then suddenly my Dell ultrasharp 24" didn't seem that good anymore. Couldn't find one anywhere and 2nd hand wasn't cheap @ around 400 quid mark, so I have been looking at other monitors, but they were more money, then I found one on amazon.de brand new for €269, chuffed is the word...
Now I need a complete re-arrange of my tiny 6' x 6' office cube in the basement and a new desk as it won't fit on my corner desk unless it is nearly touching my face!
Cheers for this, I was completely unaware of this monitor, looks like a great upgrade for me....
