The "New Gear/Willy Waving" thread

Got my rocket and lens wipes yesterday. But I'm mostly pleased that I don't have to buy a camera bag. I found a very old dusty bag I used to keep a camcorder in, cleaned it up and it fits what I have very nicely with some room to spare. It has five removable velcro dividers and two large front and rear zip pockets. I'm not sure why it was provided with two straps though.

No photos of it, but I've just picked up a 2nd hand Canon 200-400mm zoom to try for motorsport. It should be more flexible than my current 300mm f2.8 IS with the extra range and built in 1.4x convertor. Time will tell if the focus speed is good enough at f5.6 under the usual dull conditions at Knockhill.

It is hand holdable (just) at 3.6Kg without the weight of the body, but not sure for how long. I've bought a monopod to use with it to save my back for extended use.
 
I’ve only managed to do some test shots as I’m concentrating on macro at the moment. I am very satisfied with the AF and IQ and the lack of lens IS has not been an issue.
 
Talking of manuals . I picked up a mint low shutter count canon 1dmkIV on friday for £400, i think was an absolute steal.
Sadly no manual, any one help me out with where i could purchase one.
I own a canon1dn owned from new and also mint and still a great camera so some of the functions i can transfer to the mkIV but the custom functions are more comprehensive and i would like to read up on which custom functions are linked to each other.
 
Oh I like that very much. Think it would work on an A7iii?

Edit: I've just watched the video on Amazon and I'm going to have to buy one for the wink alone. :D
