The New Lian case. Li PC-7 SE-B II

So, we're pretty much all agreed it's not going to be the latest version ie. the one the original poster asked about, which has 3 120mm fans in it?

I ordered one month ago from overclockers and received the 120/120 version. I really wanted the 120/120 version and would have been gutted if I received the 120/80. I would have happily paid a bit more for a guaranteed 120/120 but at the time no one else had them in stock and so I took the gamble.

One of the competitors I contacted said that he wouldn't know which version he would get until they actually arrived - so you can see this is not an isolated problem.

Perhaps OcUK should modify the description to read 120 & 80 or 120 & 120.

If you are unlucky enough toget a 120 -80 model just send it back under distance selling regs, I've been watching this case for ages trying to make up my mind wether to splash the cash or not and I've not read a thread in the last 12months where someone has got anything other than a 120-120 model and given the number that it seems Yewen has convinced people to buy the chances or getting the +II model seem pretty good!

If anyone needs any more reassurance, I just got my new PC7+ delivered today to my parents house and from what I can gather over the phone, its the mark 2 model.

hi soz for double post but does any one have pics of modded pc-7 or ones with lights and fans etc as i couldnt find any in the new case gallery unless i messed one

The picture is rather small, but as far as I can see it looks remarkably similar to my PC71 which I bought back in March 2002 when it first came out. Ooh, just realised that means it's coming upto five years old. I'm just about getting my money's worth then (think it was £210). It's a damn good case, and is in the same condition as new, albeit I've done some work on it.

Well, if it is as similar to my case as it seems then I fully recommend it. Obviously it'd be better to hear from someone with the actual case though. :)

It has a fan attachment thing for the gfx card and comes with thumbs screws...

Sorry to bring up a old thread but I bought a pc7 a couple of weeks back and I would like to buy the fan attachment for the side vent as shown in the instructions that cools the gfx.

Anyone any idea where you can buy them?

No asking for competitors on these forums please, check the FAQ for a set of forum rules.

They usually go for about £15, you can post in the 'product suggestions' section of the forum and if there is enough interest OcUK will look into stocking it. :)

I think all of this is just unnecessary confusion. If you actually read the product description:

...includes one 12cm ball bearing fan and one 80mm sleeve bearing fan.

Which is exactly what it says. It includes those fans - not what size the in/exhaust fan mounts are. I would assume that the 80mm would be for the 80mm blowhole at the top.

It actually doesnt say what size the exhaust fan is at all.

Edit: Sorry - didn't notice it was an old thread! :p
