Nah, it's the one after that I think...

It's where you have to rescue an MCV and your base starts with low power...

I've given it another go, and it's not as hard if you use lots of mcvs filled with rocket guys, but it's still rather hard. :/

There is a small NOD base to the NW which you really need to take out before thinking about escorting the MCV down.

Thanks, I'll give that a go. I've found APC's filled with rocket guys to be awesome for this mission, as they take down troops, tanks and air. :)

Also, is anyone having sound problems? The demo was fine, but the full game sound like it's in 22KHz. :(
 
After doing the GDI campaign the NOD are so lame for firepower :( On the mission where your introduced to flame tanks.. just annoying nod have no good tanks :P
 
Love the game, mine turned up yesterday and unfortunatly I am at work now and cant play it! It nice to see it in Vistas "Game" directory with its ratings etc, shame stalkers not in there!

Plays well on 64 bit Vista, contri to the supported OS, Iguess this covers then just incase. Nice to see the cha from Lost in it and the two sexiest girls from BSG!
 
i miss titans so much, much cooler than predator tanks

but all the referance to tiberian sun is enjoyable as they say gdi stopped using so many mechs because you can now plant bombs on any mechs legs

good fun game in all, not as good as previous incarnations so far, but after i30 and some serious playing i hope i'll fall in love

although i forsee myself playing supcom for much longer after im bored of cnc3

Strongest race in multiplayer IMO. Their ground stuff is ok but once you get the airpower on the go you can often just steamroll through armies and defences.

I would put money on them getting hit by the nerf stick in the next patch.

Thats exactly what i thought when playing the demo. I used to keep rolling the roller wheel trying to zoom out. Anyway, arrived today, installing right now.

Unlucky mate! On the other hand im very impressed with the place i bought mine from. Got an email informing me that it had been dispatched yesterday and it arrived today. I didnt even select next day delivery :)
 
Don't think the Kanes worth the extra money tbh. some wallpaper desktops (available online), some unit skins, some videos (available online).

Its not much price difference so I went for Kane, but its not worth it. Crappy wallpapers, and I STILL can't work out how to use the extra unit skins. And I bet the blooper reel is on YouT00b by next week.
 
Just got my Kane Edition from a popular music/game retailer in Leeds. Installing now. I'll probably do the GDI missions and some skirmishes, then dive into multiplayer! :p
 
Is anyone having any issues playing an online game?

I login in fine, it brings up the 'home' screen, then I get a blank window appear, with an OK click button in it, but my PC totally freezes... everytime...

Any ideas??

What res are you playing at ???

Am playing at 1920x1200 and the area that's viewable is not to bad at full out zoom....But i would like the option of being able to zoom out a little more...

I went for the kane edition as it was only about £2.50 more then the standard edition...

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Profiles\(your name)

then open the Options.ini and try putting the res you want to play at in here....

The Options.ini should look something like this below when you open it..

AnimationLOD = UltraHigh
AntiAliasingLOD = 4
AudioQualitySetting = High
Brightness = 52
DecalLOD = High
EffectsLOD = UltraHigh
IdealStaticGameLOD = UltraHigh
ModelLOD = High
Resolution = 1920 1200
ShaderLOD = UltraHigh
ShadowLOD = UltraHigh
StaticGameLOD = Custom
TerrainLOD = UltraHigh
TextureQualityLOD = High
WaterLOD = UltraHigh


I can't confirm if this does works or not...
