i'm stuck :(

after the motorbike section, (theres some sort of flashback) and i'm down a pit with just flares see a bloke behind a gate. i swing over the top then there's a cut scene where a big monster thing kills him and starts chasing me - an icon to shoot comes up but i havent got any guns so keep dying

have i missed the guns somewhere in the tunnels?

If I recall correctly, you have to run then jump over some rocks. The icon is misleading and I'm pretty sure you have to run away. :)

That icon is very misleading. My translation for it is "super mega action time mode".

Well ive just completed it, took just over 7 hours. Which was 3 days worth.

I must say, much better than any of the previous Tomb Raiders, other than the original. That said, i found it way to easy, and a little to short as the rest of you guys have said.

Overall :-

Excellent storyline, excellent graphics, excellent gameplay just a little too short - very much worth a look into if your a fan of the TR series.

As said just press the right button etc on the joypad. There are no weapons on this level for Lara

Ok I completed this now.

With V1.1 was able to play the entire game with next gen features on which is nice.

I think they tried to put some of the best bits about TR in lots of very polished but small levels. Although it was fun it just doesn't capture the original TR feeling of exploration and the mazes in the huge levels like the original games did.

Lara’s animation is the best yet, the voiceover is well put together, and the physics interactions with puzzles are welcome, certainly better than the original block and grid system, shame there wasn’t more of it.

Interestingly The Croft manor sums up lots of what is missing, exploring, finding secrets, and finger twisting mind boggling jump sequences, the gym bit is ace.

After playing it all, I still think the AI is terrible, The cut sequences with Dragon’s Lair style ‘hit this key now’ moves are pants, and the levels are too small.

The graphics can be really gorgeous at times, but there are still bloody clipping bugs all over the place which spoils it a bit, sometimes you can even bury Lara in the geometry… and to play the game with next gen mode on you will need a monster PC.

It’s a bit of fun if you can get over the niggles. It’s also a bit short (probably took me about 8.5 hrs) but to be honest I wanted it to end as I had enough :)

In comparison, PoP Sands of time was a better game. TRL gets 7/10 IMO.

I agree with this hugely. the swimming pool felt like some of the games of old. Big, bright, open yet with a strange feeling.

Just completed it. A good ending, except the concept of what happened has been done before.

Some fantastic levels, beautiful effects and a good plot and likeable characters (except the goth-cheerleader Amanda). Some of the script was a bit wonky in places but pretty good none the less.

I've got about 10 hours out of it so far, and have a few unlockables to go and unlock. For the price you pay I think its an okay length, not brilliant but still. If I'd gone and payed 40 quid for the XBOX 360 version however, I would probably feel short changed.

im really enjoying it...

as you say, not as good as the first but then the first was the first of its kind (enough firsts,hehe)....

Just downloading the patch....although I gotta say, I think I prefer with the next gen effects off...gah..
