Do they work hard... Some yes. My issue is many of these politicians are waiting to pass a bill on behalf of a company who promise a six figure pay check. The mainstream aren't smearing all politicians, they are selectively dismantling any and every piece of positive action by Corbyn.

this is precisely the problem with Corbyn; his inability to lead, organise, or stick to a strategy he's previously agreed is making it nigh-impossible for the rest of the PLP to take the fight to the Tories. This is why they want rid of him.

No he hasn't. He is dealing with a bunch of petulant MPs who hate what he stands for. Now, seemingly, Smith is coming in with the exact same policies as Corbyn and the Blairites have gone into a spin about it. Its a pity it wasn't election time or CLPs don't turn around and say: If you don't back the democratically elected leader we will withdraw your standing as an MP.

I don't think it makes much difference to the point I was making though: Khan is personally very popular with Londoners, while Corbyn has very poor personal rating, so the idea that Khan won on the back of some "tide of support" generated by Corbyn is guff.

I've presented three clear lines of evidence showing that Corbyn does not have the popularity to generate a "tide of support" for Khan - poor polling, poor local election results, worse personal popularity than Khan - and you haven't even tried to refute any of them.

Do you have a single piece of evidence to suggest that your claim is true?

Yeah, they did, but those weren't the polls we were talking about. I haven't seen any particularly recent ones, the early ones suggested a Corbyn landslide, and given the weight of CLP nominations behind him I think he's got it in the bag. Do you have any more recent member's polling you can point me at?

You certainly don't have evidence citing an "opinion poll". If Corbyn loses then we could argue this but at least then we have a fact base not an opinion one.

I don't think me and you could agree on grass being green.
