I have the default t-mobile software on my E71, it works fine. I haven't bothered to tweak the firmware at all, just installed all the apps I need and all is good.

ps today I sold I my mint condition 2g Iphone to a friend, she has fallen in love with it, I did have second thoughts about it, but I did let it go in the end. Just hope she takes care of it..............
I've installed fring, nokia messaging (very impressed with this!) and msn live messenger. Is there anything else which is good?
Is there anyway to make the phone stop asking me about connecting to the internet? I just want it to just use the 3g whenever it wants without showing a popup each time.
Thanks, ive found something called SmartConnect that helps in stopping the popups. I've got it setup that my home wifi network is my main connection and t-mobile 3g is second. Anytime I wish to connect it auto tries the wifi, then 3g.
I think I need a desk stand / charger for it. Anyone got one that they can recommend?
Just got one of these today as an upgrade(?) on 3 from my old N95-1. Struggling a bit with the size of the buttons, but other than that is a nice bit of kit, chose the white version as I thought it looked a little nicer, my only real gripe is the naff rubber cover on the USB port, looks cheap and nasty.
Hi, anybody downloaded the Skyfire browser for E71? Downloaded today and I am impressed!! Full support for flash sites, opens youtube videos from the site, opens BBC iplayer site and streams radio without using Realplayer! And free as well.
Had this phone since yesterday. First ever qwerty phone, absolutely brilliant, can't fault it one bit so far. Loads smaller than I expected too, very pleased
