I've got mine on 3, not had any problems with the signal quality, it's pretty much the same as my old N95.
aint updated mine in a while. but i do have a horrible tinge on my photos, they arent very bright either. oh well, i never take it out with me on night out or anything, id end up breaking it. im thinking about getting one of those very very cheap moto's for like 20 quid. 
anyone else use nimbuzz messenger? i find it awesome! pretty much leave it on all dday on gprs/3g whatever band its connecting to lol

Don't appear available for my phone if I enter the code into the Nokia website - but I've got a SIM-free E71 damn you, why not?!
I like a couple of the themes from www.babinokia.com - though there are plenty others out there. I like the dark ones, and best go for the ones he's specifically made E71 versions of.
Wallpapers - meh, get anything you like off the web or your camera, resize to 320*240, set as wallpaper.
I like Slick as an IM app, Google Maps (browse to m.google.com on your phone), I hear good things about Opera but found that the integrated web browser ain't all that bad, ummm, can't think what else off the top of my head but there's tons of stuff that's easy to find for S60 3rd edition

symbian freak is the best place to get themes. i.e this one which im using which skins ALL the icons (a lot of themes out there miss a few out unfortunately which i was quite annoyed about) this is one theme where pretty much every icon is skinned. plus it looks pretty cool.

Well the N71 is a superb little device and only cost me £100 after i get cashback on my old handset
Whenever i dl the themes from the link i quoted i get "Certificate Error". Any ideas?

have you allowed installs from an untrusted source? my e71 wouldn't let me install themes because they haven't been digitally signed by nokia or whatever. but you can change that in the options.

This phone rocks- just got it to synch with my work Exchange server and got my mail, contacts, calendar, etc in synch now
Well i got mine for 235, so 240 sim free and unbranded is a great price
There is a guy on AVForums who will sell you an E71 in brand new condition for far less (VTECSteve) That is where I got mine from and it's literally perfect condition (and i'm fussy!)
Recieved my works E71 this morning, on first glance, nice phone, nice keypad, nice and responsive but im not liking the GUI at the moment, it feels too "old fashioned" maybe thats just me?

For those that find the E71 icons etc a bit bland or old, try this theme. Gives it a nice fresh look with all new Nokia icons.
Mine arrived this morning, £150 delivered off the auction site as an unwanted sealed box upgrade - guess I got really lucky or I've been had!
It's locked to Three at the moment so going to get it unlocked/debranded and reflashed by a bloke in town today for £30 and then I'll stick my Voda sim in it.
First impressions are really good - metal case and build feels brilliant, I had a little play with one in a store before deciding I would have a go at getting hold of one. Already getting used to the little keyboard and also feels good to be back with a Nokia after having had a SE phone for the last few months - this thing feels so much responsive and its still loaded up with all of the Three crap!
