Tbh the thickness of the phone did at first put me off but then im getting used to it. Its a pretty solid phone tbh and it does feel a bit strange in my back pocket of my jeans but like i said if anything thats the only thing i dont like about it, the thickness of it.
But other than that its an amazing phone, lovely gorgeous screen and the menu system is quick and easy to understand.

I got mine off the ebay, 2gb minisd card...havent received it yet as its coming from the states. But compared to shops online i got mine a fair bit cheaper.
 
anyone thinking of using one stop phone shop just be aware of using one of their cashback deals

I had to take them to court to get mine.
 
I've been in contact with Orange this morning regarding this phone and it looks as though i will be getting an early upgrade, quick question though before i do commit myself to this, is it possible to put GPS software onto this phone and if so, does it cost anything to run once installed? (Sorry this may seem like a n00b question but i really have no idea on this whatsoever and have always wondered)

At the moment the gps software probably wont work from what i have been reading as developers havent ported it over for the 3rd edition of the S60 3rd edition software on Symbian OS . But i would hope soon there will be quite a few apps soon.

Your gonna be waiting quite some time for that to happen. Your best bet is to get it on a contract. Ebay is a waste of time, had a look earlier on and they are selling them at higher prices that what i paid for with extortionate delivrey charges...i paid £530 for my black n80.
 
The one stop phone shop site doesn't actually say anywhere *that i can see!* whether or not the n80 is currently in stock - i assume i will be told in an email if it's not available at the moment ...

im half way through a contract with 3 right now, so i cant get a new contract now

i dont mind waiting a month or two till the price of N80 drops, max ill pay is £200 for it, plus whatever i can get for my N70, so about £350

How are you getting it ? on its own or contract ? if so where form as i would love the black one but i don't fancy waiting months for a network to decide to offer it :o

CPW on contract, it works out £40 more to get the black one (they don't have the silver one anymore, but you can get in from onestop).
 
They have or are expecting stock of the black one eh ! sounds promising ! i would get it just from them tbh - i don't mind paying the extra 40 squid as the black one looks the dogs danglies :cool:

Expecting, i guess you could phone them and ask how long you will have to wait.
