The **Now Drinking** Thread

Another Tesco Finest, Oak Matured Still Cider. This is produced by Weston's, I much prefer it over the Sheppy's but then I do like still cider.

Have you tried the Finest Organic Pear Cider? It's really quite nice, also by Weston's. Currently drinking it now!

No I haven't, not generally a fan of the pear stuff. I don't mind traditional Perry, but tend to stay clear of pear ciders.

Now on half 'n half, Thatchers Gold and Weston's Wyld Wood, yum :)

Just come from the Wetherspoon's, four pints of "Between the posts" -http://www.cottagebrewing.co.uk/specials.html

Tyskie. Not something I'd normally drink, girlfriend bought round a bottle. I remember why I don't normally drink it. It's tasteless meh. Corrs has more of a taste than this! Boo.

'Czech Premium Lager' from the Co-Op. Another one the girlfriend brought round. It's, like the above, very meh. Yea, it's lager but it doesn't have that Czech bitterness you expect. It's pretty poor. However, in my research to try and discover who makes it I found this brilliant quote:

Let's be honest: lager is ****. It's a pitiful excuse for alcohol. Drunk from tins, drank by neds, sold in slabs, made in labs. It may have a rich history but it's been forcibly abducted by the English and had up the chuffer. There are amoeboids avoiding osmosis with passing cells just in case it involves this fizzy pizz of stuff.

Classic. :D
