The **Now Drinking** Thread

A cold Budweiser quite refreshing after working a sixteen hour shift :(, means to an end while the woman is bleeding me dry for Christmas, can't sleep now so a couple of beers should bring on the tired.

Cup of tea.

Woke up to a burst pipe at 02:45. Not long finished bodging a temporary repair and mopping up the mess. Not tired now so having a cup of Twinings English Breakfast to soothe me. Would have had a whisky but I'm driving up to Dunbar later so, tea it is.

Not a great deal of Damage I hope?

Either way sorry to hear but I'm glad you managed to bodge a repair.

Elliot brew, nice ipa and good to have a decent ale.

Minimal damage. It's a ground floor flat so it's a concrete floor with tiles on top so not a big deal. Thanks for your concern though :)

Would love a whisky but I'm driving up to Dunbar later so best stick to the tea :(

A strong cup of coffee, much needed after last nights trip to the Oktoberfest event in Gosforth. I'd recommend checking it out to any beer buff in the area, pretty interesting bottles on offer. I managed to try a Kernel/Brodies collaboration, a Mikkella Koppi Coffee IPA and a Thornbridge Kill Your Darlings. Todays headache is powerful but I'm considering going back for more.

It does sometimes amaze me how I manage to maintain my phenomenal six pack as well :D

Also. if it's any consolation the Goose Island tasted **** (and that's being polite) On the coffee myself now while John Smith cools himself down in my fridge ;)
