Local winemark moved closer to my house and into a bigger shop, took a look in for the first time tonight determined to grab a few things i've never had before and left with these.



Already drank the Asahi, not a bad beer at all.
Still not made my mind up on the sour mash brew though.

I tried it and to be honest I really was not a fan, I don't like christmassy beers.

Christmassy beers? The only thing that was Christmassy about it is the name...

Had somewhat of a skinful last night so just having a small Talisker as a nightcap tonight

Camden Pale Ale.

Nice head to it and the hops come through really well in the nose. However, they aren't that great in the taste though there is a lingering bitter. It's very drinkable, which results in that lingering bitter sodding off as you gulp down another sip!
Pleasant enough, but nothing amazing. It's a summer day beer rather than a winter's eve. Pass the Porter!

Guinness if i've just been paid, Ruddles if I haven't. If there's a bitter or stout on tap that I haven't tried i'll give it a go. Tried a pint of Director's from Courage, a really lovely pint, nice and smooth with a lovely stouty flavour, ended up drinking it all night.
