If you fancy a sweet taste, then try some Scottish beer by Innis & Gunn. Look for the red label version marked 'Original', it's under £2 per bottle (aprox £1.89 but can be bought on offer £3 for two) 330ml. Hints of vanilla and toffee should be right up your street J1234 :)

Thanks, will have a look for that :)

There is also a 'Blonde' it's with a blue label and not just as strong in flavour.

...Harp Lager again

Picked up the red labelled one earlier to try later. Got a glass of Leffe Blonde right now which is really nice!

Picked up some Liefmans Cherry beer too, which was on the Jimmy and Jamie's food fight thing when they were doing beers and it sounded lovely.

Leffe Blonde is one of the favourites around here :) Excellent choice on the Innis & Gunn Original, one my own personal favs.

...another (3rd) Smithwicks Pale Ale

Just treated ourselves to a couple of bottles of this - currently on offer in Morrisons for a penny under a fiver!
For those of you preferring Merlots and Shirazzzzez, give it a go!
