The **Now Drinking** Thread

I quite liked Origin and I'm a big fan of the smoother Speyside whiskies. Hated their Superstition as it was just too peaty for me.

I'm tempted to get a bottle of the Diurach's own, Jura again, it's supposed to be a bit sweeter, although I must admit Origin is quite nice. I'd avoid the more peaty ones they do myself.

I'll be trying Scapa when I can afford it :)

It's a Kernel IPA, of course it's good!

Ooooo Kernal make some amazing IPA's

Way better than the dead pony club here.

I haven't tried that one myself - though I have recently splurged out and spent some money on a bottle of Shackleton Whisky which I'm quite looking forward to trying when it eventually arrives. :D

Oof nice!

The Scapa isn't quite that much, but I tried it at the gf's the other day (her parents have quite a good whisky collection) and it was glorious!

A can or two of arthurs finest.

Apologies for the quality of the photo, quite a few john powers whiskes in the pub earlier. Normally i drink jamisons, but there was none. Was either powers or plain white label bushmills, jp won easily. Actually quite nice so it was. Oh, and blue riband bars for a quick sugar hit.:D

Salopian's Darwins Origin. By heck, it packs a hoppy punch on the nose. Pretty bitter, but still pleasant. It's not too strong to have alcohol sweetness to ballance the bitterness, but it's not too bitter that it's like, umm, grapefruity-earwax. Yeah, should have though about the description better. Sorry.

LOL :D

That sounded like a Jeremy Clarkson review ;)
