Tripel Karmeliet was not to my liking I've had it previously in Belgium i must have been drunk at the time
I went to check out a new supermarket which has opened near us. Turns out I'm a complete sucker for anything they put a "aus dieser Region" (i.e. local produced) tag on, and this happened:
The one of the left is a herbal spirit of some kind, the one on the right is a salt licorice liqueur which is very much one for my wife and not me, and I don't think I need to explain what the on in the middle is.
The herbal one is most pleasant, kind of like Jägermeister but nice, think how a low end single malt is to Teachers. The licorice one is one of the nastiest things I've ever tasted but my wife loves it - but then I already knew she had bad taste
The popcorn rum smells exactly like stuffing your face into a bucket of butter popcorn. Tastes decent but I've had better rums of late

Awesome, Brugge Zot always has a soft spot since Bruges was our honeymoon and did the factory tour. Shame no official glass though.

am i wrong in thicking as soon as i saw the top of this picture.. i mmediately thought.. pee water... till i saw the coffee cup as i continued to scroll
