The **Now Drinking** Thread

Gordon's and Tonic (Fever Tree). Slice of lemon.

It's nice, but Fever Tree isn't worth the price. I'll be sticking to normal tonic from now on.

After several glasses of wine and 3 family sized whiskies last night, I have a slight hangover today so I thought I'd try the hangover cocktail I saw on Nigella the other day (I suspect she may not have had a real hangover as she still looked scrumptious).

It's called a Prairie Oyster and consists of:
1 measure brandy.
Splash of Worcestershire sauce.
Splash of vinegar (I used balsamic as it was the first one that came to hand).
Dash of tabasco.
Salt and pepper.
1 raw egg yolk.

You're supposed to keep the egg yolk whole and knock it back in a oner.

Not too bad. Not the most pleasant drink I've tasted (didn't taste it that much anyway as I threw it into the back of my throat and swallowed it) but not bad. Will have to wait and see if it works. I'm now chasing it with a pint of Twinings English Breakfast tea.

Threw up last night ffs :(

Drinking lots of water now.

I'm more annoyed because i bought a few nice ales to enjoy on a Sunday afternoon and now I just dont want them :(

Threw up because you drank so much, or threw up because your a girl Andr3w? It's very important!

Gordons and Tonic (Tesco branded stuff, I've sampled the expensive stuff and decided it's not worth the extra in price). Had a full bottle the other day, my girlfriend came round and now it's basically empty. I need to drink early in the day so she doesn't have it all!

Honest guv'nor.

Threw up because i'm allergic to something in lager and I had one as they don't serve ales in pizza express :(

Didn't have THAT much to drink last night either....gutted :(
