Coffee , first one of the day, even with my foot surgery trying my best to cut down my intake

Good to see you're branching out a little bit DJ! I hope you'll find the Leffe as terrific as I do.
The Innis & Gunn stuff is quite an acquired taste, it's mainstream oak aged stuff but it'll be quite a shock for a lager drinker like you.
I'm just on the water, I'm full of the cold.
I'll let you know how I get on. Oh and yes I do like my lager but also my ales and stouts too 
Well I must say it is certainly different but yet very likeable in taste, I'm not a great one for being descriptive but this to me seems to have an almost aniseed aftertaste, didn't keep it's head very long but seldom do .... esp. round me
