The pub was offering it as a half, they are pretty intense so a half is good enough. Plus, they were around £3.50 for a half.

Oskar Blues -Imperial Red IPA. Not sure why they've added the Red since it looks like most double IPA's. Very nice thou, great hop taste and you can't really notice the alcohol. Very similar to Stone IPA/Ruination.

Brains - Barry Island IPA = Smells of Lemonade. Tastes of, god knows what. How do you take that combination of hops and make it taste like this? Not very good. Would have preferred it tasted liked it smelt.

I mentioned this when I sampled it a few pages back - without a doubt one of the worst beers I've ever tried.

Most of those beers aren't your normal 4-5%. In fact all are in the 7-9% range. Also having halfs allows you to try more different beers. Whenever I'm in brewdog I have flights which consist of 4 1/3 pints of different beers.

The barman at the Brewdog pub in Edinburgh said that to me as well when I was up getting a round in:

Barman: "Sorry we only sell that in half pints due to the strength"
Me: "Fair enough - I'll have two half pints and an empty pint glass please"

Got me a funny look - he did pour it though
