That looks amazing. But almost £12 is a bit much.

Each to his own, but given the size of the sandwich and the number of ingredients, I think the price was acceptable. I dunno if I would order it again, just because it was so big and hard to finish, but it was fantastic.

This is another pic of it. Dunno if that gives a better sense of size or not. Bear in mind the whole sandwich was two of those.

people pay £10 for a burger with chips at basic harvesters etc

not bad value, yes expensive for what is a sandwich but look at it.

Christening the new kitchen!
Where was it from, How old was it, how are you going to cook it and what is going to accompany it on the plate?

You can't just tease people with a great big hunk of meat like that!

Ultimate homemade sliders!
I can't help myself by wanting to cram those in my mouth but my jaw hurts from just looking at them!

I find that smashed burgers work better for sliders, but YMMV. If you stick with your technique, try pressing an dent in the middle of the patty before cooking so they don't swell up as much.

Not sure how old it was but sourced from local butcher and was lovely for a roast dinner..! Held on the heat side on to render the fat a bit and then roast for 20 mins...was lovely and rare and the two dogs are very grateful for any leftovers 😜
