The **Now Eating** Thread

Chicken tikka and ham :)

Had overnight oats for breakfast for the first time this morning. Oats, milk, Greek yoghurt, diced apple, cinnamon and maple syrup.

I'm not sure I'm completely sold, they have certainly filled me up which is what I was aiming for so that's good but not sold on the texture, was a bit like wallpaper paste :p. Will have to mess around with the reciepe I think.

I like them with raspberries and blueberries in, quark or greek yogurt, oats, nuts and a bit of honey. That's it in layers. No milk as it just goes weird.

I'll have to give that a then with no milk to see how it is as I think it was the milk mixed with the oats that gave it the texture I wasn't keen on. Have you got a rough guide on quantities for the yoghurt and oats? I used half a cup of oats, half a cup of milk and quarter cup of yoghurt.

I'll have you know sir, that pickled onion MM are by far superior. Especially if you're lucky enough to get a ball of pure flavour powder at the bottom of the bag.

I'm afraid you are both wrong, Flaming Hot are king.

Try adding a splash of milk/water in the morning just to loosen it up a bit.

chicken kebab on salad. pulled the kebab machine out for the first time in probably 2 years and remember why I haven't used it, takes far to long to cook, let alone brown, 3kw heating element just inst enough, so much easier to just pan fry and you lose no taste.

will be going down the tip.
